Product Photography- Hello Chelsea co.

We were able to work with the talented Chelsea from Hello Chelsea Co. Her products are gorgeous and if you haven’t seen them go take a look! You won’t be disappointed.

We shot all of the images with our new Sony A7 II. We really love it!! I love its’ capability to focus with peaking feature while also using the zebra feature to let us avoid being over exposed! For these shoots that was a must. We use our Sony Zeizz 55mm 1.8f  lens and it worked wonders. As for the background we had a white infinity wall. Not made out of “sheet fabric” but rather vinyl. It is much more durable and not see through! Perfect for Product Photography!!

As for editing, it was all done in Adobe Lightroom. It is amazing what that program can do! Chelsea wanted the clean white look. During the shoot, for our first few practice shots, we couldn’t get the pure white, even after working with the kelvins. What we love about the sony camera is that it has an additional kelvins color palate which helped us find that pure white! To find this feature, all you have to do is press right one more time when in the kelvins setting to reveal the palate.

It was so much fun working with Chelsea and her gorgeous products! We will be working with her again very soon for a fun video of her products. So stay tuned!!! You won’t want to miss it!!

Keally – Natural light

After having so many rainy days here in the NW we finally had a week of great sunny weather. Although it was still cold, we finally got some beautiful sunshine. We had to take advantage of the weather and do a photo session. I was able to shoot my little sister. It was great working with her especially because we found a beautiful spot with an awesome view, beautiful grass and gorgeous trees! We are excited to announce that we will be doing photography in addition to our videos. We have some family and senior shoots coming up in the next month! We also can’t wait for our Hawaii trip in a few months. Lots of videos coming in the next couple of months!

Mica & Joe’s wedding

Jason and I got to film a beautiful rainy Oregon wedding at the end of December. It was so much fun working with Mica and Joe. Although the weather wasn’t the best, we got some beautiful shots. Jason strapped an umbrella to his CameTv stabilizer to protect the motor and battery from getting wet. It was so funny seeing him walking around with that. But it did the job and he got some amazing movement shots with it. We love our Came. It’s amazing how smooth everything is!

We used two cameras for this film; our Sony rx10ii and our Nikon with a 35mm f1.8 lens. We had to work with cloudy lighting so in post production we had to do some color correction to match both cameras. The Sony shot a little too bright but we were able to fix it on Adobe Premier using some LUT’s: mostly Blue Ice.

This was just a fun project! We loved filming the reception as well. The Cametv was so great for getting the shots of people dancing. It felt as if you were there!
