Chelsea & Ryan’s Wedding

We had an amazing time filming for Chelsea & Ryan’s Wedding!  The temple was so crowded that day with back to back weddings, but they were so easy and fun to work with that they made it seem as if it was just them two getting married that day.  We had the great opportunity to work along side the talented Calder Photography.

Columbia Gorge

We took a family trip to explore to Columbia River gorge. We left early in the morning to avoid traffic and visited 4 waterfalls with our family. The kids loved it!

Our first stop was the famous Multnomah falls. It is always a breathtaking view. Our next stop was horsetail falls. This was by far our favorite with our little kids. The kids were able to run around and even get in the water. Our third stop was Oneonta gorge. It was a bit of a walk in the stream/ river, so make sure you have good water shoes. But was a blast! Our last Stop was Latourrell falls. If you haven’t gone there before, I highly recommend it! We went underneath the Fall and it seriously took your breath away. The water came down so powerful and it kinda hurt (just a little bit). But I would totally recommend it. You can not experience that everywhere.

Real Food by Dad & Bakers Royale

Back in March, Francisca and I had the opportunity to work with Real Food by Dad & Bakers Royale as they teamed up with Airbnb to visit Manzanita, OR.  This was such a fun project to work on, even with all the snow and rain.  Luckly, the weather did give us a long enough break to get the drone out and get some pretty shots of the coast and home.

In this project, it was our goal to capture the journey of Real Food by Dad & Bakers Royale’s family as they experience the coast and challenge their family to do new things. Teaming up with Airbnb, they didn’t want to just have a traditional vacation, but experience the coast like a local would.

Video Marketing Statistics

In the online market that we live in today, it no longer is a matter of being online but being seen online.  Video is one of the best ways to make your business stand out when it comes to marketing a product, service or brand.  Many of our customers don’t actually take the time to read our content, but instead look for graphics that easily explain the concept we are trying to get across.  Be honest … how many of you went through and looked at the graphics before coming back to read this paragraph?  Video marketing used to be an outlet only for large businesses with large marketing dollars, but with advancements in technology and effective online outlets, video marketing is now an outlet that many small business are surprised they can afford!

Consumers are interacting more with video than ever before

Video is one of the easiest ways for consumers to learn about a product or service and understand how the product or service can benefit them. In the matter of 15-30 seconds you can advertise what usually would take a page or more of text to explain.  Not only this, consumers tend to see video as a trusted source of information so not only does video convey messages easier to the consumer, but when they see the video, they are more likely to trust it.

Bakers Royale & Real Food by Dad Behind The Scenes

About two weeks ago, Francisca and I met seriously one of the coolest families who run two amazing food blogs, Real Food by Dad & Bakers Royale.  They came to the Oregon Coast and stayed in an amazing Airbnb, unfortunately they came on the last winter storm in Portland and had to go over the coastal range in the snow!  I’m sure this is exactly what they were looking for in a trip to the beach 😉  Even with the bad weather, they had the best attitude and were so laid back and easy to work with!

We just purchased the Nikon Key Mission 360 which we are honestly in awe about.  Unless you have the budget and time to run the 6 plus GoPros 360 rigs, this is in our opinion the best rig out there!  See our quick behind the scenes video below and make sure to look around at the end to catch Francisca’s amazing dance move!

The completed edit should be live next week!
